Wherever 2010 found you Jesus is the King who redeems. Only He knows what 2011 will bring, and only He brings the newness our hearts desire. If not today, we know all things will be made new in the end.

When I read this poem, this verse immediately entered my head, Luke 1:78-79: "because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death,to guide our feet into the path of peace." Which makes me love all the more that Paul told us to "shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace." We are to put the shoes of the gospel on so that we can walk God's path of peace for us, and share His light with everyone He brings to our path. I will pray that God gives you sneakers of the gospel of peace as you travel about India.
